He has been awarded first prize and special mentions in national and international solo competitions, performed with many orchestras in Italy, and taught for over a decade on tuba, trombone and horn in music institutes and schools. Clayden currently performs as a soloist and teacher, and in 2014 he was awarded a Certificate in Human Psychology by Bishop's University.
